Andy Sinclair MM0FMF delivering his second Presidential Address
The new year of LRS meetings started with a bang with the Presidential Address by Andy Sinclair MM0FMF on 11th September. The title was "SOTA - Summits on the Air, an award scheme for Radio Amateurs". Andy described with very obvious enthusiasm how this scheme has rapidly developed in the relatively short time since 2002 and now has multiple classes of entry and awards in countries all over the world. The first issue was "how do you define a hill?" on an equatable basis for competitors in Scotland, the Himalayas and Holland! Click for Full Report.
