Considering continuing the Viral Nets in the New Year. MIKE called in first mobile from Murrayfield then later from home. He had just bought a new Army Rx - FB! PETE had been constructing. Now all his PTT links were joined and switchable. 23cm last night was very poor. He had repaired his rotor with thanks to Peter for his help. Aircraft Scatter QSOs had ben very successful. BRIAIN was suffering from sleep deprivation! He had finally drilled holes through the cellar wall for his feeders, using a 1-metre drill! He had had a visit from Malcolm GM3TAL for a nice chat over coffee. ALAN reported he had been contacted by an American couple, both Extra-Class, who were about to arrive in Edinburgh for a 1-week stay. He would try to arrange a get-together next week. GEORGE had a bad echo on his signal and difficult to copy. BRIAN DIJ had been in Galloway for 4 weeks and had done a lot of radio,  including UK AC contests on 13cm, 2m, 70cm and 3cm. He was now back in Edinburgh. BRIAN BJF announced that the GMRT lecture program was now complete, with a number of LRS speakers including GM4BYF & GM4DIJ plus GM3TAL and GM4PMK. He would provide the list for publicity purposes. PETER had been listening to a Chinese propaganda station on 7MHz.
