The Society offers training courses for the Foundation Amateur Radio licence. The courses take place over two weekends starting on the first Saturday continuing on the Sunday and carrying on the following weekend, (see below for syllabus details). The examination is taken on the second Sunday. Exam only attendance can be arranged for those who wish to study on their own. Candidates should bring with them and be familiar with the set text 'Foundation Licence Now!' which is available from the RSGB price £5.
