During the summer months when there are no formal LRS meetings with talks we gather for informal Pub Nights at 'Wee Bennet's ' bar on the corner of Morningside Road and Maxwell Street at Morningside Station. This year we met on 11th & 25th July and 8th & 22nd August.

PN1 11th July: Peter GM4DTH, Pete GM4BYF, Mike GM8KCS. Also present: James GM4WZP & Alan GM3PSP.

We were also joined by a large number of other pub customers to watch the football semi-final! We did discuss and celebrate the recent success of GM3HAM/P winning the Restricted Section of VHF National Field Day.

PN3 8th August: Colin GM4EAU (drinking French water?) Peter GM4DTH, Vic GM3OWU, Alan GM3PSP, Mike GM8KCS, Melvyn GM4HYR (QRP).

PN4 22nd August: Alan GM3PSP, Brian GM8BJF, Colin ex-GM6GIB, Briain GM8PKL, Peter GM4DTH, Mike GM8KCS. Also present: Melvyn GM4HYR.

On this occasion we were joined by many members of the local running club 'fresh' (if you can call it that) from a run and greatly in need of a pint.
