Before the curry, we met at Weatherspoon's Booking Office bar on Waverley Bridge. 

There we were joined by Robin GM4YPL and his XYL.

Veronica got a shot of Mike MM0MLB wearing one of the Christmas hats that she had brought for us to wear.

Then on to the Gurkha Café & Restaurant in Cockburn Street for the first time, since the closure of the Himalaya Restaurant at Bruntsfield which we had used for many years. The Nepalese cuisine at the Gurkha, new to some, was much appreciated and enjoyed, but sadly they were not in the same league as the Himalaya for "the world's largest naan"!
