The award has run for its first year and the winners are now announced:

1st place: Dr Colwyn Jones, MM0YCJ of Edinburgh who activated 15 GM/SI summits.

Colwyn was presented with his trophy at the LRS meeting on 22nd Feb - see below.

2nd place: "Matthew B", M5EVT of Sherborne, Dorset. who activated 8 GM/SI summits.           His trophy is being sent to him.

21 Jan 2023 - Colin GM4EAU in RadCom

The Feb 2023 issue of Radcom p.16 has a column by our committee member Colin Murray GM4EAU on his winning the RSGB Construction Competition, Software, with "WATT - a WSPR Analysis & Traffic Tool".

The first six trophies have been purchased and one was shown by Pete GM4BYF at the Nov 23rd meeting. Winner's name will be engraved on a plate on the base.

Lothians Radio Society Trophies - Donated by GM0OYV-SK

Two LRS trophies were donated by the late Charlie Cowper GM0OYV 

(SK 25-8-1998) in his will.

 

LRS Edinburgh Castle Paperweight D/F Trophy

The beautiful glass paperweight trophy which displays an image of Edinburgh's Old Town, is presented annually at the LRS Barbecue to the winner of the LRS Direction-Finding Contest.
