It has already been heard, and data decoded, by LRS member John GM8OTI. John reports it's very loud on his 5-element yagi.  Alan GM3PSP has also heard it using a vertical antenna.

The nominal beacon / data frequency is 145.935MHz. Start about .938 and follow down to .933 with the Doppler-shift. The beacon / data signal consists of a band of noise, presumably data, about 2kHz wide, with a tone dash every 5 seconds

The transponder is now active: up on 435.150 - 435.130MHz; down on 145.950 - 145.970MHz.

GM3PSP heard GB3RS in QSO on 145.960 at 10:50z on Friday morning.

The LRS operated special event station GM100RSGB as part of the RSGB's Centenary celebrations on Mon 18th to Wed 20th Nov. from a nice quiet site near Armadale, West Lothian, with a QRO station and a 3-element beam at 20 metres high. Conditions were particularly good on 10m and we spent all of Monday and most of Wednesday on that band, working mostly DX but with some G-stations. On Tuesday we worked mostly 40m. On Wednesday we were back on 10m and 20m. A total of 563 QSOs were made. DX included VK, VP8 (Falklands), W6 & T6 (Afghanistan). The antenna was dismantled on Sunday 24th Nov. Click for Full Report.
