Long-time GMDX member Dr Ron Harkess passed away on Saturday 23rd August aged 92 after a short stay in hospital. Ron originally lived in Ayrshire, moving to Perth in the early 1990s with his work for Scottish Agricultural College. He was a close friend of Watson Peat GM3AVA who was also a member until his passing. Ron was active every day on 2m FM with friends around Perth, until he went into hospital.
