Brian GM4DIJ single-handedly operated GM3HAM/P for the LRS from his favourite site at IO74MU near Stranraer in Dumfries & Galloway.
Tx/Rx = IC9700+SSPA. Power 1000W. Ant 17 ele Tonna @5magl, 89m ASL

QSOs 145. Points 54591. ODX HB9TTY JN46BX 1265 km. Position 6th overall in Claimed Scores.
Most of my contacts were on Saturday, but much better conditions on Sunday.
It was very windy on Sunday and I had noise from nearby wind turbines. The rain stayed away.
The antenna was looking a bit scary towards the end, so I packed-in a little bit early.
I got the usual barely-readable “You’re 5&6 off the back of the beam” as if it’s A Good Thing.
Also info in the wrong order – all permutations.
Something I’ve noticed: I ended up on 144.22325, but stations kept netting to 223.
The stations down at the South coast were giving out high serial numbers.
Who is this guy: “G7RAU 149,124 points 694 qsos EA8DKZ 2592km”
“A few hours free on Sat and Sun so testing new ants and giving away points”. I’ll have some of his.

My cheer-leaders were out, but got bored quickly.
