Have you ever wondered why we stand on two legs?
This talk is about the balance system in the human body – and its three main components: Vestibular, Visual, Proprioception
After a brief reminder about some basic physics: (gravity, mass, force, acceleration, velocity), there will be a brief overview of haptic technology and devices: (accelerometer chips, tactors and other transducers.)
Examples of haptic systems applications will include: navigational, medical, robotics, aeronautical, mobile phones and gaming
(I am not aware of any amateur radio applications, so far…….!)
